The Town of North Providence’s
9th Annual Memorial Day Parade & Celebration

Monday, May 30, 2016
Parade at 1:00 pm
Festivities at Governor Notte Park from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm

The parade begins at 1:00 pm at the North Providence High School, and ends at Governor John A. Notte Jr. Park, where a festival including food vendors, music and much more will take place immediately after the parade until 6:00pm (no entrance fee.) Street Closures

Beginning at 12:45 pm the following streets will be closed as we honor our lost soldiers with a Memorial Day Parade:

STREETS ALONG MINERAL SPRING AVENUE
PLYMPTON, LONGUE VUE,HAWTHORNE, PURITAN, TIMBER, MARBLEHEAD NORTH VIEW, ROCKWELL. MALCOLM, ANDOVER, BARRETT, NORTHVIEW TERRACE CONDOMINIUMS, 

STREETS/APTS. ON DOUGLAS AVENUE
WEST RIVER PKWY, AMELIA COURT, BROOKFARM, MARCONI, FITZHUGH, HAWTHORNE PLACE, TANGLEWOOD LANE, TWIN RIVER CONDOS, DOUGLAS COMMONS APTS.,WENSCOTT LANE, COVE @ WENSCOTT (APTS.)

The North Providence Memorial Day Parade Committee is seeking your assistance in honoring North Providence residents who have passed on and served in the military. You are invited to submit their names and have them honored during the Memorial Day Parade May 30, 2016. Your loved one’s name will be added to a memorial wreath which will be displayed throughout the Parade route. The wreath will then be placed at the Memorial Stone at Governor Notte Park.

Please contact the Recreation Office at 719-1633 by May 12, 2016. You may also submit their names via email at or you can complete the form below and return it to the Recreation Department’s main office located at 2 Governor Notte Parkway by Tuesday, May 12th.
